Dear friends,
I deem it a privilege to introduce Mohamed Institute of Education and Technology Society, Tiruchirappalli. The M.I.E.T., is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1975 With Alhaj S.M. Hasan Mohamed, J.P.(All Ceylon), a man of hard work and dedicated service as President. The Society has established the Polytechnic Collge in 1984, the Arts,& Science College in 1993 and the Engineering College in 1997 in Tiruchirappalli.M.I.E.T. views education as a vehicle for normal, social and economic upliftment of world communities and a means for creating wealth for the nation and individuals. The socio-techno-economic development of a nation is by no means an easy task. A Herculean task though, everyone has to make his/her contribution in some way or the other to national development. Our humble contribution towards this is the creation of M.I.E.T.Society.
In today’s information era, Knowledge is power and creation and dissemination of knowledge is the business of educational and research institutions. The prayer “O Lord, Advance me in my Knowledge,” will be answered in the affirmative by the Lord, the Graceful, in the corridors of M.I.E.T. for anyone irrespective of race, religion, caste, community and region, who comes to it for education. We hold that providing education is the best of services to humanity. We render it ‘all with Gods Grace’. The M.I.E.T. institutions constantly strive to reach better standards of teaching for effective student learning. Human empowerment is the name of the game in our institutions.
Development is a continuous process in M.I.E.T. and we believe that’ we are no longer the organization we once were, and we are not yet the organization we want to be’. On the road to development our journey goes on and for ever…. The world witnesses a race between education and catastrophe. In the race, education will have to be the winner.
